Brian Glover

Brian Glover was born in St. Andrews, Scotland, U.K. in 1950 and studied civil engineering at Cambridge University Clare College) med soil mechanics, hydraulics and hydrology as main subjects. He then took a research degree in engineering hydrology at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, U.K. and worked 2 years on site during construction of Kielder dam before moving to Norway in 1978. Up to 2012 he was employed at NVK A/S a consulting engineering company specialized in hydropower, water and environment. NVK was merged with Multiconsult in 2004.

He has been one of the main founders of several successful companies in the field of consulting and hydropower development including Nyborg Invest AS, Karftpartner ASA (later merged with Fjellkraft) and Norplan Uganda Ltd. (now Newplan Ltd. )
